About the challenge
Little Apple Hacks is a two-day, gender-focused, online, global hackathon held by Little Apple Academy for female-identifying people. As a beginner-friendly hackathon, we hope to inspire and equip our participants with coding skills to bridge the gender gap in technology.
Over two days, teams of up to 4 participants will work to develop a software project that helps to solve a real-world problem.
Eligibility
Participants must identify as female, transgender, genderqueer, or non-binary.

What to Submit
The three project tracks for Little Apple Hacks are:
Health
Education
Social Justice
Build an application or a website that helps to solve an issue in any of these areas.
Best Project Proposal
Present an idea and design for an application to solve a real world problem using technology.
All submissions must include a demo video (5 minutes max).
Source code should be placed in a public repository, and a link to the repository, as well as a tryout link, should be provided (if applicable).

Impact
Does the project have any feasible application and/or have a social impact? Will this help the community with a real problem they are facing? Can this be implemented? (Social Justice Category) -
Functionality
Is the project free of major bugs? Does it look appealing? No part of the project needs to be perfect, but there may be a problem if it is not user-friendly. -
Creativity
Is this project unique and innovative? Is it a solution or creation we have never seen before? -
Complexity
The team should display a good level of knowledge in terms of the technology they have used in implementing their project.
